Arts Council England : is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery.
EM Media : EM Media has both a strategic role in promoting the media and film industries and in supporting access, and a delivery role focusing on sustainable business growth.
Government Departments
The Creative Economy Programme : this programme from DCMS (Government Department for Culture Media and Sport) is the first step in Governments desire to make the UK the worlds creative hub.
Networking Opportunities
Arts in the Peak : offer a service, run by artists for artists that distributes news of events, funding and support to its members. It also aims to ensure that rural arts based enterprises have a voice in official strategies, polices and documents.
CIN
Creative Industries Network for Derby City and much of Derbyshire (Amber Valley, South
Derbyshire, Derbyshire Dales, Erewash and High Peak). Their purpose is to provide their
members with the support they need to grow their businesses. Membership is currently
free.
Design Factory
Design Factory Offers marketing and selling opportunities, marketing grants, a
business start-up guide and one to one support for designer/makers and manufacturers based in the
East Midlands.
Shoutout : Shoutout is designed to be the voice of the creative industries within the East Midlands. It provides resources, networking opportunities and powerful promotion for creative practitioners and businesses across the region.
The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse is a network for the creative industries sector in Ashfield, Bassetlaw,
Bolsover, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Newark & Sherwood and North East Derbyshire. It
is a free service providing access to support and to highlight to other sectors the
wealth of creative services The Greenhouse areas have to offer.
